Shefali Jariwala, remembered for her hit music video Kaanta Laga and Bigg Boss 13, died of a cardiac arrest at 42. Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai confirmed her death late on 27 June. Her husband Parag Tyagi, along with three others, rushed her to the hospital that night. She was declared dead on arrival. As reported by ANI, the Mumbai Police source said, ” Shefali Jariwala died at the age of 42. She lived in Andheri area of Mumbai. Members of her family had reached the hospital with her late last night and she was declared brought dead by doctors there. Her body was found at her residence in Andheri area. Mumbai Police received information about this at 1 am. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. The cause of death is not yet clear.”

Journalist Vickey Lalwani posted, “I can confirm that she was brought dead to Bellevue Multispeciality hospital (opposite Star Bazaar Andheri) about 45 minutes prior to this post. Shefali was rushed to the hospital by her husband and three others.”

A hospital staff member told Times of India, “Shefali had expired before she was brought in. Her husband and a few others accompanied the body.”

Shefali, who became famous for her role in the remix song Kaanta Laga, passed away on June 27 at the age of 42. She was taken to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital by Parag. Sadly, she was pronounced dead when she arrived. It is thought that she suffered a cardiac arrest, but the official cause of death has not been disclosed. The Mumbai Police sent her body for an autopsy to find out what caused her death. After the examination, police officials stated that the cause of death was ‘reserved’.

On Wednesday night, Parag used social media to pour out his grief and love after the death of Shefali. He posted a short video on the song Mere Haath Mein from Aamir Khan and Kajol’s film, Fanaa. In the video, Shefali is seen holding Parag’s hand, and in another moment, their hands rest gently on their pet dog Simba’s paw. Posting the video, Parag wrote, “Together Forever (heart emoji).”
