Mahesh took to social media to say, “#SitaareZameenPar… It shines so brightly! You’ll laugh, cry, and cheer!! Just like all of Aamir Khan’s classics, you’ll leave with a huge smile on your face…”

Mahesh’s comments echo the feelings expressed earlier by seasoned screenwriter and lyricist Javed Akhtar, who tweeted following the film’s impressive box office performance on Day 2: “I’m thrilled to hear about the record jump that Sitaare Zameen Par made at the box office on its second day. Who claims that quality films don’t attract audiences? Kudos to Aamir Khan and his crew.

Talking about the movie, Sitaare Zameen Par, which acts as a spiritual follow-up to the highly praised Taare Zameen Par (2007), is helmed by R.S. Prasanna and brought to life by Aamir Khan Productions. This social-comedy film continues Aamir’s tradition of blending storytelling with social awareness.

Khan stars alongside Genelia Deshmukh and is backed by an impressive cast featuring Dolly Ahluwalia, Gurpal Singh, Brijendra Kala, and Ankita Sehgal. However, the film’s core is its introduction of ten new actors with intellectual disabilities: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishnan Varma, Vedant Sharmaa, Naman Misra, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Ashish Pendse, Samvit Desai, Simran Mangeshkar, and Aayush Bhansali.
